Sold at the lower estimate price
The work A Dog-Fight by Abraham Cooper was sold in the Sporting Art, Wildlife and Dogs auction at Christies in London in June 2006. The result of GBP 600.00 (€ 868.19) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Abraham Cooper achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Daniel Haigh, Master Of The Old Surrey And Burstow Hunt On His Horse Kitten in June 2008 with an auction result of USD 56,250.00 (€ 35,718.82).
