In May 2007 Christies in London held the auction Sporting Art, Wildlife & Dogs, which included the work Cider for lunch by Abraham Cooper. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,360.00 (€ 4,944.47), 34% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Abraham Cooper have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Daniel Haigh, Master Of The Old Surrey And Burstow Hunt On His Horse Kitten in June 2008 with an auction result of USD 56,250.00 (€ 35,718.82).

Im Mai 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion Sporting Art, Wildlife & Dogs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cider for lunch von Abraham Cooper zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 3.360,00 (€ 4.944,47) und damit 34% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Abraham Cooper auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Daniel Haigh, Master Of The Old Surrey And Burstow Hunt On His Horse Kitten im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 56.250,00 (€ 35.718,82).
