Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The shooting pony by Abraham Cooper was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2011. The price achieved of GBP 875.00 (€ 990.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Abraham Cooper achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Daniel Haigh, Master Of The Old Surrey And Burstow Hunt On His Horse Kitten in June 2008 with an auction result of USD 56,250.00 (€ 35,718.82).
