Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Women in Blue by Ablade Glover was sold in the Wired: Online Auction auction at Phillips in an online auction in May last year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,560.00 (€ 8,893.62) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ablade Glover - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work People, which sold at auction in October 2019 for GBP 27,500.00 (€ 31,898.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Women in Blue von Ablade Glover wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Wired: Online Auction bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.560,00 (€ 8.893,62) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ablade Glover mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit People beobachtet, die im Oktober 2019 für GBP 27.500,00 (€ 31.898,03) versteigert wurde.
