Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Town Aerial View Abstract by Ablade Glover was sold in the Modern & Contemporary African Art auction at Bonhams in Edinburgh in October this year. The price achieved of GBP 7,040.00 (€ 8,083.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 9,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ablade Glover - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work People, which sold at auction in October 2019 for GBP 27,500.00 (€ 31,898.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Town Aerial View Abstract von Ablade Glover wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary African Art bei Bonhams in Edinburgh versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 7.040,00 (€ 8.083,88) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 6.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Ablade Glover mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit People beobachtet, die im Oktober 2019 für GBP 27.500,00 (€ 31.898,03) versteigert wurde.
