A top price for Abdul Qader Al Rais
In April 2008 Christies in Dubai held the auction International Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Bishra (Announcement) by Abdul Qader Al Rais. The »bidding war« ended at USD 385,000.00 (€ 247,302.16), 54% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Bishra (Announcement) the most expensive artwork by Abdul Qader Al Rais that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Abdul Qader Al Rais
Im April 2008 führte Christies in Dubai die Auktion International Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bishra (Announcement) von Abdul Qader Al Rais zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 385.000,00 (€ 247.302,16) und damit 54% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieses hohe Ergebnis macht Bishra (Announcement) zu dem teuersten Kunstwerk von Abdul Qader Al Rais, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
