In the SOUTHEAST ASIAN & 20TH CENTURY INDIAN PICTURES auction, the work Four young women sold for HKD 143,400.00 (€ 20,422.00) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 65,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Abdul Aziz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Courtship in November 2012 with an auction result of HKD 3,140,000.00 (€ 311,345.12).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Abdul Aziz erzielte im April 2002 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion SOUTHEAST ASIAN & 20TH CENTURY INDIAN PICTURES wurde die Arbeit Four young women für HKD 143.400,00 (€ 20.422,00) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 65.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Abdul Aziz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Courtship im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.140.000,00 (€ 311.345,12).
