Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Gadis Di Jendela (Girl At The Window) by Abdul Aziz was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2018. The price achieved of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,630.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Abdul Aziz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Courtship in November 2012 with an auction result of HKD 3,140,000.00 (€ 311,345.12).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Gadis Di Jendela (Girl At The Window) von Abdul Aziz wurde im Oktober 2018 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.630,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Abdul Aziz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Courtship im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.140.000,00 (€ 311.345,12).
