Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Les Idylles, 1991- Idylls (Love Affairs), 1991 by Abdallah Benanteur was sold in the Iranian and Arab Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in October 2009. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 25,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 25,322.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Abdallah Benanteur - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Des Pots et des Bouteilles, which sold at auction in October 2008 for USD 116,500.00 (€ 91,862.48).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Les Idylles, 1991- Idylls (Love Affairs), 1991 von Abdallah Benanteur wurde im Oktober 2009 in der Auktion Iranian and Arab Modern and Contemporary Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 25.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 25.322,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Abdallah Benanteur mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Des Pots et des Bouteilles beobachtet, die im Oktober 2008 für USD 116.500,00 (€ 91.862,48) versteigert wurde.
