This artwork by Aart Klein achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in November 2011. In the Photographs auction, the work Urban Landscape, c. 1960 sold for GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,334.80) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Aart Klein - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Urban landscapes 1-3, c. 1960, which sold at auction in May 2010 for GBP 4,625.00 (€ 5,418.83).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Aart Klein erzielte im November 2011 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Photographs wurde die Arbeit Urban Landscape, c. 1960 für GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.334,80) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Aart Klein mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Urban landscapes 1-3, c. 1960 beobachtet, die im Mai 2010 für GBP 4.625,00 (€ 5.418,83) versteigert wurde.
