Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Aaron Young could be acquired at Sothebys in London in August 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art| London auction, the work Police Line changed hands for GBP 6,300.00 (€ 7,059.53) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aaron Young achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Greeting Card 10a in October 2010 with an auction result of GBP 121,250.00 (€ 139,803.15).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Aaron Young konnte im August 2020 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art| London wechselte die Arbeit Police Line für GBP 6.300,00 (€ 7.059,53) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Aaron Young erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Greeting Card 10a im Oktober 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 121.250,00 (€ 139.803,15).
