Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2018 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Aaron Curry for USD 1,875.00 (€ 1,636.70). This price was achieved in the auction First Open Online: Post-War and Contemporary Art at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aaron Curry achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fractured Union (In Perfect Form) in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 87,500.00 (€ 67,369.88).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2018 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Aaron Curry für USD 1.875,00 (€ 1.636,70) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion First Open Online: Post-War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Aaron Curry erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fractured Union (In Perfect Form) im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 87.500,00 (€ 67.369,88).
