This artwork by A. Roland Knight achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in June 2001. In the SPORTING ART & DOGS auction, the work A Trout On A Line; And A Trout Leaping sold for GBP 5,757.50 (€ 9,564.35) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by A. Roland Knight; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Perch; Salmon and Trout; Roach; Pike; Barbel and Chub; and Trout -the first leap sold at auction in June 2004 with the realized price of GBP 9,560.00 (€ 14,228.14).

Dieses Kunstwerk von A. Roland Knight erzielte im Juni 2001 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis.
