Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A grayling; A chub; and A lea trout from the Pied Bull Stream, St. Nugent, Hertfordshire by A. Roland Knight was sold in the Sporting Art and Dogs auction at Christies in London in June 2002. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 4,112.50 (€ 6,361.11) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by A. Roland Knight - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Perch; Salmon and Trout; Roach; Pike; Barbel and Chub; and Trout -the first leap, which sold at auction in June 2004 for GBP 9,560.00 (€ 14,228.14).

Die Arbeit A grayling; A chub; and A lea trout from the Pied Bull Stream, St. Nugent, Hertfordshire von A. Roland Knight wurde im Juni 2002 in der Auktion Sporting Art and Dogs bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 4.112,50 (€ 6.361,11) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
