Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2006 Christies in New York held the auction Modern and Contemporary Indian Art, which included the work Untitled (Lotus Pond) by A. Ramachandran. Here, the upper estimate of USD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 66,000.00 (€ 52,021.75). Other works by A. Ramachandran have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 86,500.00 (€ 64,871.76) in March 2012 for the work Untitled (Crucifixion); Untitled (after Crucifixion of Mathias Grünewald).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2006 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Indian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Lotus Pond) von A. Ramachandran zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 66.000,00 (€ 52.021,75) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von A. Ramachandran haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 86.500,00 (€ 64.871,76) im März 2012 für die Arbeit Untitled (Crucifixion); Untitled (after Crucifixion of Mathias Grünewald) beobachtet.
