This artwork by A. Ramachandran achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in March 2005. In the Indian and Southeast Asian Art including Modern and auction, the work Roski As A Young Bride sold for USD 50,400.00 (€ 38,861.90) - well above the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by A. Ramachandran; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Untitled (Crucifixion); Untitled (after Crucifixion of Mathias Grünewald) sold at auction in March 2012 with the realized price of USD 86,500.00 (€ 64,871.76).

In der Auktion Indian and Southeast Asian Art including Modern and wurde die Arbeit Roski As A Young Bride für USD 50.400,00 (€ 38.861,90) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 20.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von A.
