This artwork by A. Ramachandran achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in September 2015. In the South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art auction, the work Kaleidoscope; Study For Kaleidoscope sold for USD 37,500.00 (€ 33,596.13) - well above the upper estimate of USD 18,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by A. Ramachandran; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Untitled (Crucifixion); Untitled (after Crucifixion of Mathias Grünewald) sold at auction in March 2012 with the realized price of USD 86,500.00 (€ 64,871.76).

Dieses Kunstwerk von A. Ramachandran erzielte im September 2015 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis.
