Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2021 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings, which included the work Landscape by Zou Zhilin. The price achieved of HKD 478,800.00 (€ 51,263.04) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zou Zhilin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy And Landscape, which sold at auction in September 2013 for USD 149,000.00 (€ 110,084.96).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2021 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Zou Zhilin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 478.800,00 (€ 51.263,04) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Zou Zhilin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy And Landscape beobachtet, die im September 2013 für USD 149.000,00 (€ 110.084,96) versteigert wurde.
