This artwork by Zou Zhilin achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2016. In the Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Landscape After Dong Yuan sold for HKD 708,000.00 (€ 79,766.80) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 350,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Zou Zhilin; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Calligraphy And Landscape sold at auction in September 2013 with the realized price of USD 149,000.00 (€ 110,084.96).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Zou Zhilin erzielte im April 2016 bei POLY in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Landscape After Dong Yuan für HKD 708.000,00 (€ 79.766,80) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 350.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Zou Zhilin; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Calligraphy And Landscape im September 2013 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 149.000,00 (€ 110.084,96).
