Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Zou Zhilin was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 25,000.00 (€ 19,446.17) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Zou Zhilin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy And Landscape in September 2013 with an auction result of USD 149,000.00 (€ 110,084.96).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Zou Zhilin kam im September 2012 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 19.446,17) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zou Zhilin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy And Landscape im September 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 149.000,00 (€ 110.084,96).
