Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Zhu Yizun could be acquired at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2007 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Calligraphy Couplet in Clerical Script changed hands for HKD 14,400.00 (€ 1,371.17) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhu Yizun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscapes in Ancient Style in November 2010 with an auction result of HKD 620,000.00 (€ 61,258.05).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zhu Yizun konnte im Mai 2007 bei Christies in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wechselte die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet in Clerical Script für HKD 14.400,00 (€ 1.371,17) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhu Yizun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscapes in Ancient Style im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 620.000,00 (€ 61.258,05).
