A top price for Zhu Yizun
This artwork by Zhu Yizun achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2010. In the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Landscapes in Ancient Style sold for HKD 620,000.00 (€ 61,258.05) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 300,000.00. This high result makes Landscapes in Ancient Style the most expensive artwork by Zhu Yizun that we have observed at auctions so far.
