Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Poem In Clerical Script by Zhu Yizun was sold in the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2017. It changed hands for a price of USD 7,500.00 (€ 7,010.66) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zhu Yizun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscapes in Ancient Style in November 2010 with an auction result of HKD 620,000.00 (€ 61,258.05).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Poem In Clerical Script von Zhu Yizun wurde im März 2017 in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 7.010,66) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhu Yizun auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscapes in Ancient Style im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 620.000,00 (€ 61.258,05).
