A top price for Zhu Wenhou
When the work Tiger, Elephant, et al. by Zhu Wenhou was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2012, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - HKD 20,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than six times as high at HKD 138,000.00 (€ 13,738.23). This high result makes Tiger, Elephant, et al. the most expensive artwork by Zhu Wenhou that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Zhu Wenhou
Als die Arbeit Tiger, Elephant, et al. von Zhu Wenhou im Oktober 2012 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert wurde, übertraf das Ergebnis die Erwartungen um ein Vielfaches. Der obere Schätzpreis war mit – rückwirkend betrachtet recht bescheidenen – HKD 20.000,00 angesetzt, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis hingegen war mit HKD 138.000,00 (€ 13.738,23) mehr als sechsmal so hoch. Dieses hohe Ergebnis macht Tiger, Elephant, et al. zu dem teuersten Kunstwerk von Zhu Wenhou, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
