Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Zhu Cheng achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Hong Kong in October 2019. In the Chinese PaintingsThe Online Sale auction, the work Pine Tree and Chrysanthemum sold for HKD 10,200.00 (€ 1,165.84) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhu Cheng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape Album in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 225,000.00 (€ 27,417.75).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zhu Cheng erzielte im Oktober 2019 bei Bonhams in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Chinese PaintingsThe Online Sale wurde die Arbeit Pine Tree and Chrysanthemum für HKD 10.200,00 (€ 1.165,84) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhu Cheng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape Album im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 225.000,00 (€ 27.417,75).
