Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Chrysanthemum by Zhu Cheng was sold in the Asian Art auction at Bonhams in Sidney in April last year. The price achieved of AUD 984.00 (€ 933.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhu Cheng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape Album in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 225,000.00 (€ 27,417.75).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Chrysanthemum von Zhu Cheng wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Asian Art bei Bonhams in Sidney versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 984,00 (€ 933,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhu Cheng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape Album im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 225.000,00 (€ 27.417,75).
