The work Landscape by Zhu Cheng was sold in the Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2014. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 100,300.00 (€ 10,326.18), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhu Cheng - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape Album, which sold at auction in November 2016 for HKD 225,000.00 (€ 27,417.75).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Zhu Cheng wurde im Oktober 2014 in der Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 100.300,00 (€ 10.326,18) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhu Cheng mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape Album beobachtet, die im November 2016 für HKD 225.000,00 (€ 27.417,75) versteigert wurde.
