It achieved a price of USD 9,375.00 (€ 6,926.49), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 34%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhu Cheng - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape Album, which sold at auction in November 2016 for HKD 225,000.00 (€ 27,417.75).

Die Arbeit Flowers And Birds von Zhu Cheng kam im September 2013 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 6.926,49) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 34%. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhu Cheng mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape Album beobachtet, die im November 2016 für HKD 225.000,00 (€ 27.417,75) versteigert wurde.
