This artwork by Zhu Cheng achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2015. In the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Eagle, Pine And Narcissus sold for HKD 62,500.00 (€ 7,633.50) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhu Cheng - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape Album, which sold at auction in November 2016 for HKD 225,000.00 (€ 27,417.75).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zhu Cheng erzielte im November 2015 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Eagle, Pine And Narcissus für HKD 62.500,00 (€ 7.633,50) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhu Cheng mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape Album beobachtet, die im November 2016 für HKD 225.000,00 (€ 27.417,75) versteigert wurde.
