Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2015 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Boundless: Contemporary Art, which included the work Fragile State - Yellow by Zhou Wendou. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 23,750.00 (€ 2,746.77) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Zhou Wendou have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2015 the work Fragile State - Pink was auctioned for HKD 25,000.00 (€ 2,891.34).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2015 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Boundless: Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fragile State - Yellow von Zhou Wendou zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 23.750,00 (€ 2.746,77) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Zhou Wendou konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2015 die Arbeit Fragile State - Pink für HKD 25.000,00 (€ 2.891,34) versteigert.
