Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fragile State - White by Zhou Wendou was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in June 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 23,750.00 (€ 2,746.77) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Zhou Wendou have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2015 the work Fragile State - Pink was auctioned for HKD 25,000.00 (€ 2,891.34).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Fragile State - White von Zhou Wendou kam im Juni 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 23.750,00 (€ 2.746,77) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Zhou Wendou konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2015 die Arbeit Fragile State - Pink für HKD 25.000,00 (€ 2.891,34) versteigert.
