Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Avant-Garde Is Not Afraid Of A Long March by Zhou Tiehai was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2015. The price achieved of HKD 562,500.00 (€ 65,008.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 500,000.00 – 700,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zhou Tiehai have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Will/We Must (Set Of 15 Works) in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 4,840,000.00 (€ 498,292.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Avant-Garde Is Not Afraid Of A Long March von Zhou Tiehai kam im April 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 562.500,00 (€ 65.008,51) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 500.000,00 – 700.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhou Tiehai auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Will/We Must (Set Of 15 Works) im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.840.000,00 (€ 498.292,10).
