Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Winter Landscape by Zhou Chen was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in April 2004. The price achieved of HKD 95,600.00 (€ 6,205.53) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhou Chen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work River Scenery in May 2013 with an auction result of HKD 51,390,000.00 (€ 5,096,267.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Winter Landscape von Zhou Chen kam im April 2004 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 95.600,00 (€ 6.205,53) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhou Chen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit River Scenery im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 51.390.000,00 (€ 5.096.267,32).
