Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Zheng Zaidong could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in March 2007 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art Asia auction, the work Resting The Tune For The Cool Moon & Lay Down Your World-Weary Staff changed hands for USD 16,800.00 (€ 12,561.69) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zheng Zaidong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Wave, which sold at auction in April 2015 for HKD 300,000.00 (€ 34,671.21).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne

In der Auktion Contemporary Art Asia wechselte die Arbeit Resting The Tune For The Cool Moon & Lay Down Your World-Weary Staff für USD 16.800,00 (€ 12.561,69) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00.
