Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ink Bamboo by Zheng Xie was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019. The price achieved of HKD 625,000.00 (€ 72,488.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 500,000.00 – 700,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zheng Xie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bamboo And Rock in September 2014 with an auction result of USD 2,629,000.00 (€ 2,081,881.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ink Bamboo von Zheng Xie kam im November 2019 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 625.000,00 (€ 72.488,43) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 500.000,00 – 700.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zheng Xie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bamboo And Rock im September 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.629.000,00 (€ 2.081.881,53).
