Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Life And Dreams Of Yanjiang Youth Series by Zheng Guogu was sold in the Contemporary Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2013. The price achieved of HKD 25,000.00 (€ 2,372.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zheng Guogu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Waterfall in May 2012 with an auction result of HKD 560,000.00 (€ 58,337.11).
