The work The Chat God Of Millennium 19A & 19B (Set Of Two) by Zheng Guogu was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2017. It achieved a price of HKD 125,000.00 (€ 13,757.73), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Admittedly, works by Zheng Guogu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Waterfall in May 2012 with an auction result of HKD 560,000.00 (€ 58,337.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Chat God Of Millennium 19A & 19B (Set Of Two) von Zheng Guogu kam im Oktober 2017 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 125.000,00 (€ 13.757,73) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zheng Guogu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Waterfall im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 560.000,00 (€ 58.337,11).
