The work Untitled by Zheng Chongbin was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2018. The auction ended at the price of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 33,780.44), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zheng Chongbin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Four Definitions 001, which sold at auction in April 2016 for HKD 687,500.00 (€ 77,457.17).

Die Arbeit Untitled von Zheng Chongbin wurde im Oktober 2018 in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 33.780,44) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Zheng Chongbin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Four Definitions 001 beobachtet, die im April 2016 für HKD 687.500,00 (€ 77.457,17) versteigert wurde.
