Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Dissolved Geometry by Zheng Chongbin was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in December 2020. It achieved a price of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 31,643.50), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zheng Chongbin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Four Definitions 001, which sold at auction in April 2016 for HKD 687,500.00 (€ 77,457.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Dissolved Geometry von Zheng Chongbin kam im Dezember 2020 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 31.643,50) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Für andere Arbeiten von Zheng Chongbin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Four Definitions 001 beobachtet, die im April 2016 für HKD 687.500,00 (€ 77.457,17) versteigert wurde.
