Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Deflection by Zheng Chongbin was auctioned at Christies in Cologne in May this year. The price achieved of HKD 226,800.00 (€ 27,184.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 180,000.00 – 280,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zheng Chongbin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Four Definitions 001, which sold at auction in April 2016 for HKD 687,500.00 (€ 77,457.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Deflection von Zheng Chongbin kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Christies in Köln zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 226.800,00 (€ 27.184,49) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 180.000,00 – 280.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Zheng Chongbin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Four Definitions 001 beobachtet, die im April 2016 für HKD 687.500,00 (€ 77.457,17) versteigert wurde.
