Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Poem Pictures by Zhang Zongcang was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2007. It changed hands for a price of HKD 96,000.00 (€ 9,141.16) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 80,000.00 – 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Zongcang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Parasolhall In Autumn in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 49,560,000.00 (€ 5,849,854.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Poem Pictures von Zhang Zongcang kam im Mai 2007 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 96.000,00 (€ 9.141,16) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 100.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Zongcang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Parasolhall In Autumn im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 49.560.000,00 (€ 5.849.854,06).
