Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscapes by Zhang Zongcang was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 200,000.00 – 280,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 212,500.00 (€ 22,422.15) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Zongcang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Parasolhall In Autumn in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 49,560,000.00 (€ 5,849,854.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscapes von Zhang Zongcang kam im April 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 200.000,00 – 280.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 212.500,00 (€ 22.422,15) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Zongcang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Parasolhall In Autumn im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 49.560.000,00 (€ 5.849.854,06).
