Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pocket-Sized Landscapes by Zhang Zongcang was sold in the Classical Chinese Painting and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in May 2017. The price achieved of HKD 708,000.00 (€ 80,844.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 600,000.00 – 800,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Zongcang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Parasolhall In Autumn in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 49,560,000.00 (€ 5,849,854.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Pocket-Sized Landscapes von Zhang Zongcang wurde im Mai 2017 in der Auktion Classical Chinese Painting and Calligraphy bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 708.000,00 (€ 80.844,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 600.000,00 – 800.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Zongcang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Parasolhall In Autumn im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 49.560.000,00 (€ 5.849.854,06).
