The work Landscape by Zhang Zongcang was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy II auction at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2017. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 259,600.00 (€ 30,642.09), 73% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Zongcang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Parasolhall In Autumn in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 49,560,000.00 (€ 5,849,854.06).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 73 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Zhang Zongcang wurde im April 2017 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy II bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 259.600,00 (€ 30.642,09) und damit 73% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Zongcang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Parasolhall In Autumn im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 49.560.000,00 (€ 5.849.854,06).
