The work Landscape After Ancient Masters by Zhang Zongcang was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2012. It achieved a price of USD 98,500.00 (€ 76,617.92), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 64%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Zongcang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Parasolhall In Autumn in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 49,560,000.00 (€ 5,849,854.06).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 64 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Landscape After Ancient Masters von Zhang Zongcang kam im September 2012 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 98.500,00 (€ 76.617,92) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 64%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Zongcang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Parasolhall In Autumn im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 49.560.000,00 (€ 5.849.854,06).
