Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2013 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Huts in the Forest by Zhang Zongcang. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 180,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 187,500.00 (€ 18,594.09). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Zongcang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Parasolhall In Autumn in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 49,560,000.00 (€ 5,849,854.06).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2013 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Huts in the Forest von Zhang Zongcang zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 180.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 187.500,00 (€ 18.594,09) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Zongcang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Parasolhall In Autumn im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 49.560.000,00 (€ 5.849.854,06).
