Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Zhang Yingnan achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in Hong Kong in November last year. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale in association with Yongle auction, the work Faraway sold for HKD 756,000.00 (€ 93,813.43) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 280,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Yingnan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Echo (Painted In 2019) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 1,320,000.00 (€ 1,347,978.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zhang Yingnan erzielte im November letzten Jahres bei Phillips in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale in association with Yongle wurde die Arbeit Faraway für HKD 756.000,00 (€ 93.813,43) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 280.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Yingnan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Echo (Painted In 2019) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.320.000,00 (€ 1.347.978,26).
