Auction result well in line with expectations
In April this year POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Peace and Glory by Zhang Yingnan. The price achieved of HKD 504,000.00 (€ 514,682.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 300,000.00 – 600,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhang Yingnan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Echo (Painted In 2019), which sold at auction in April this year for HKD 1,320,000.00 (€ 1,347,978.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April diesen Jahres führte POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Peace and Glory von Zhang Yingnan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 504.000,00 (€ 514.682,61) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 300.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhang Yingnan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Echo (Painted In 2019) beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für HKD 1.320.000,00 (€ 1.347.978,26) versteigert wurde.
