Upper estimate price exceeded by 40 %.
In October this year China Guardian held the auction Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art, which included the work Encounter(Painted In 2019) by Zhang Yingnan. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 840,000.00 (€ 101,582.13), 40% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Yingnan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Echo (Painted In 2019) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 1,320,000.00 (€ 1,347,978.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 40 % übertroffen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte China Guardian die Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Encounter(Painted In 2019) von Zhang Yingnan zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 840.000,00 (€ 101.582,13) und damit 40% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Yingnan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Echo (Painted In 2019) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.320.000,00 (€ 1.347.978,26).
