This artwork by Zhang Yingnan achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in April this year. In the Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work Rooftop sold for HKD 264,000.00 (€ 269,595.65) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zhang Yingnan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Echo (Painted In 2019) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 1,320,000.00 (€ 1,347,978.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 76 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zhang Yingnan erzielte im April diesen Jahres bei POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Rooftop für HKD 264.000,00 (€ 269.595,65) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 150.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhang Yingnan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Echo (Painted In 2019) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.320.000,00 (€ 1.347.978,26).
